Unlimited wants Part II : How far is too far?

I am a big fan of the novel shopaholic series. It was such a fun book to read and i recommend it to you girls who loves fashion and also to you girls who love shopping! Anyways the novel basically tells the story of this one woman who loves to shop, and when i said love i mean she is obsessed. We all know when there is an obsession involved it is no longer healthy. And her passion for shopping ended up ruining her life. She calls herself a shopaholic which as you all know means crazy for shopping.

In the novel, what is described as a shopaholics are those who would do anything to shop, even if they have to borrow other's money. Shopaholic would still shop even though they know they are broke, unemployed, and have very little if not no money at all. They would shop using their credit card and never pay the bills. It is kind of scary, right? In the novel, i is also described that the main character would buy things she does not need, and she would also buy ridiculously useless things that she cannot even remember buying.

The problem with those shopaholics is that they cannot resist temptation. Once they see one thing they like, they would buy it, no matter what situations they are in. Even though they are broke or even if the thing is not for themself, they would not think twice to buy the things. I personaly think it is not some sort of sickness but it is just a bad habbit.

When you buy EVRYTHING you want, not caring about whether you can afford it or not, then you might be a shopaholic. Always keep in mind that you should never go too far in shopping; meaning if all you think about is shopping, beware. If you see yourself similar to the categories mentioned above then you should definitely change your shopping style and improve you mix and matching skills.
