Hey…It’s been quite a while since I wrote my last blog. But I’m going to fill some more to increase my report’s grade (of course). Thanks to Ms. Jessica who reminded the class last lesson that we have to got a certain amount of blogs and it’s not about copy and pasting but writing about your thoughts. Therefore, for all of the next entries I’m going to write, it would be based on one of my “QUESTION OF MY THOUGHTS’.

Today, the “QUESTION OF MY THOUGHTS”:
Is this statement true: There’s no such thing as pure friendship between a man and a woman?

*Sigh* In some areas, the statement might be true. Looking from the romantic movies I’ve watched and romantic books I’ve read, it seems that a love relationship has always started from just being so called “friends”. Usually on the Medias, a loving couple started being friends/best friends when they were young and resulted in a strong love relationship when they become teenagers or turned into adults. Also, the first step of being a couple is being just “friends”. The step where they start to get to know each other while also spreading their charms to each other and then fall deeply in love crazily even if they don’t realize it.

In addition, it’s totally different from having a best friend with the same sex and feels, think and acts the same which leads to a great openness with each other. Contradictory to a couple of best friend that is the opposite sex, because there are limitations on how much you can talk about a particular thing. But when you get to a deeper relationship, there have to be a great openness also where the man and woman should accept each other for who they really are. Also, no one can limit their feelings of love to each other because it just comes naturally within human beings.

On the other hand, I don’t think it’s impossible for a man and woman to be just friends either. They may be fond of each other, enjoying each other’s company and just be brothers and sisters. I, myself, am the oldest in the family, having 2 younger sisters and brother. Being the oldest is not always fun and I would like to have an older brother or a sister to lean on. If I have a brother who is slightly older than me, I imagine that his size would be bigger obviously; he would protect me, take me anywhere using his car and doesn’t have to feel afraid.

So, I guess that the statement in the beginning that says: There’s no such thing as pure friendship between a man and a woman, is 50-50 true. Since sometimes a man and a woman tends to fall in love when they were fond of each other but can also be just best friends like brothers and sisters that enjoys each other’s company. Well, that is what I think…
