Hello, grade 11! and whoever read this blog.

My name is Elizabeth! and now i'm stressing out because of the upcoming exam. We got a lot of revising to do and MEMORIZE MEMORIZE MEMORIZE everyyyyyything!!!

Hey, check this out, i found this in the internet a GLASSWING BUTTERFLY. this butterfly only can be found in Mexico... it's so cool right? This butterfly have transparent wing just like the name

To start this blog, i just want to tell you all something interesting...

Do you know?

  • You use 14 muscles to smile and 43 to frown.
  • An eyelash lives about 150 days before it falls down.
  • You blink your eyes about 20,000 times a day.
  • Your heart beats about 100,000 times a day.
  • When you sneeze, air rushes through your nose at a rate of 100 miles per hour.
  • Humans breathe 20 times per minute, more than 10 million times per year and about 700 million times in a lifetime.

WOW! I just knew that stuff from the ALMANAC book! I mean, we never ever going to count those things right. Hahahaaa… anyways exam is coming very soon and it’s time for us to revise everything that we ever learn from pre-IB.

These are some tips how to study for test. Let’s think test and exams as a challenge for us, not a burden. Even though we have to study day and night, we have to put the best in 2 hours of exam.

BEFORE THE TEST:

  1. If possible, find out the materials of the test and know what type of the test it will be, multiple choice, true or false, short answer or essay. It will help us a lot more to prepare.
  2. Study at a time when you are not sleepy or hungry. At the afternoon such as 12 pm or 2 pm.
  3. Don’t wait until the last minute! It’s what we usually did. We have a lot of materials to revise and we can’t just memorize it in 2 days or 1 day perhaps.
  4. Divide the materials for each day, so that you may memorize well and not in a rush.
  5. Repeat! Repeat! Repeat! Read and reread your notes. Better to read it out loud or take a note of the dot points.
  6. Don’t forget to have someone to test you.

IN GROUP STUDY:

  1. Compare your notes with your friends and review old homework.
  2. Next, discuss what should be memorized and the topics that will be in the exam.
  3. Lastly, test each other and discuss about the particular materials.

REMEMBER – BE PREPARED!

We should prepare everything so we can put our best in the three days exam. Don’t study in the last minute, I repeat, DON’T STUDY IN THE LAST MINUTE. We have 6 subjects to revise and we have to make a schedule on those subject to be revise.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL GRADES ELEVEN! GOOD LUCK ON YOUR STUDY AND DON’T FORGET TO REVISE! =p
